Legendary Camper Nicholson Quality and Perfomance!

England's  Camper Nicholson Shipyard has been making Yachts of the highest caliber for Royalty and
distinguished sailors since the 18th Century. It has been said that "The history of Camper Nicholson
is the history of Yachting"  This is a rare opportunity to own a well maintained blue water thoroughbred.
This rare Camper Nicholson 40 is an improved and extended version of the C&N 35 and spent her first 20
years on fresh water. She is a 16 ton aft cockpit Ketch with a cutaway forefoot that combines old world
quality, and classic good looks with impressive performance.  All Camper Nicholson yachts were inspected
during construction by Lloyds of London and have the highest certification of build quality available.
This Yacht features two private cabins with double berths including the owner's cabin forward with en suite
head,  a spacious yet sea kindly salon, full Nav. station and the well thought out galley has twin overhead
hatches and everything needed for gourmet meals at sea. Her stylish and practical teak decks are attached
with vacum bag epoxy adhesive instead of hundreds of screws.  As befits a true blue water cruiser there is
copious storage though out the Vessel as well as many small luxurious touches such as a built in bar and
full wet locker that can be accessed from the cockpit or cabin.
If you are in the market for top quality Ocean performance, build quality that is second to none and a design
that reflects 220 years of sea-going thoroughbreds, give us a call.

  • Moving Aft;
  • To Port is a thoughtfully designed fully enclosed Head. It features a Blake's Lavac ceramic manual head, a vanity unit with sink, mirror and large storage areas. The faucet pulls out to become the shower head and a teak grate over the shower drainage area completes the room. Access to the pump out system is very easy and overhead is an opening port for ventilation.
  • Opposite the Head is a large full Hanging Locker
  • Enter the large Salon/Dinette. To Port is a large sumptuous settee which can be folded out to make a double berth. The central adjustable height table has twin drop down leaves and features a central storage compartment, currently used as the 'Games Room' Above the large starboard settee, which also extends to a single sea berth, is another upper sea berth. All 3 sea berths come with lee cloths to ensure comfort and safety whilst underway in more challenging waters. A well appointed drinks cupboard, large bookshelves and storage add to the overall sense of a opulent sea-going home.
  • The Navigation Station is aft of the port settee area. It has a large chart table with hinged lid and ample space for all paperwork, charts, books and the essential 'bits n bobs'. Easy access to the cockpit or to communicate with whoever is at the helm.
